Duke St.St.James’s

IMA were asked by Great Portland Estates to create a new Ground and Basement art gallery in the space originally occupied by the loading bay and car park to 180 Piccadilly and 1 Duke St. St. James's.

The project involved the removal of the reinforced concrete vehicle ramp and the insertion of a new three storey atrium to the rear of the space.

The original loading bay shutters were removed and the ground floor space converted to the gallery entrance.
