The Lime Kilns

Marsden Lime Kilns are a group of 19th century industrial kilns located near Souter Point. They are a scheduled listed ancient monument and appear on English Heritage's 'At risk' register. The IMA proposals sought to establish an industrial museum and regional heritage centre set in a stunning landscape and wildlife habitat.

The main gallery at ground level is linked by a scenic lift to an upper gallery with viewing platforms across Souter Point and the North Sea.
